    What oil is best?

I'm just wondering what kind and what weight of oil every body is using.

    2016 Camaro SS - Summit
    2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM

I've used Amsoil in all of my vehicles for a number of years, mostly because I put the miles on quick and I get longer intervals with it.
I stick with 5w-30, though I did run 0w-30 for a while in my old SS. I didn't notice any difference honestly, but it was slightly cheaper than 5w-30 back then

Mobil 1 is what I used on my truck, I thought that all oils are just the same.

I always run whatever the cap suggests. 5w30 it be. If its Ford, 5w20 lol. I run Mobil 1 because its a good quality decent priced oil for any 100k engine. If I was to go through a rebuild and start fresh I would probably use Amsoil.

Been using Amsoil and Mobil 1 here, whatever is available or on sale. Since someone confessed he had bad experiences using different viscosity of oil, I stick with what is recommended on the cap. When I helped my buddy install the shocks from 4Wheelonline onto his truck for their MI trip last year, he used different viscosity of oil that is appropriate for the weather.
