what length pushrods you runnin??

For those of you using heads that are not stock, post up what pushrods/length your using. What cam if any. What kind of heads, are they milled, gasket thickness. Are they working well?, ticking noise? etc.


LS6 2.5 TSP heads, tv2 cam, GM gasket kit.7.400 pushrods. with Ls7 lifters



ps: this thread is to give an idea for people wondering what pushrods have worked and not worked for others with certain setups. I couldnt find any good source on this, just here and there stuff and usually beating around the bush...lol... with no actually facts or experience.

Quiet as can be....for that much cam.


Lifter pre-load plays a HUGE role in pushrod length.
Cam shouldn't really change the length much (unless for some reason the base circle is a decent amount different, which doesn't happen much).
Heads shouldn't change them much unless they have a higher rocker pedestal or have been milled.

what lifters ur running can play a role also in pushrod length also...

prc 215 head ms4 238/242 i think..an ls7 lifters...7.450 pushrods
