What cams is everybody running
JUst curious, but what is everyone running for a cam, and if you are, what size and why did you choose that one.

Mystic Teal- 99 Trans Am & 01 CBR 929
I am running a 230-236 dur. 580-590 lift on a 114 LSA. I chose mine because I was willing to sacrifice some driveability for a larger cam and the cam was ground the way it was because I wanted a cam that would do well with my bottle.

DUR @ .004" 294* / 302*
DUR @ .050" 232*/ 240*
LIFT .551/.551
OVERLAP 64*
LSA 117*
i chose it because it fits my needs. big enough for my 408 without the tuning hassles associated with close LSA. i may sacrifice a little peak power, but i'll get a longer rpm range of usage.Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

I run a MS4 cam. But I can't recommend anything for you because you need your Signature filled out even if your stock so we can see how your cars setup.

Onyx Black- 2002 Z28 Camaro M6
What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting. I want to get a cam down the road but as this is my daily driver I don't want to go to extreme. I have heard that 224/224 is a good starter? I want to run nitrous down the road but don't want my cam to only work well while on the spray. My car is stock now minus the y-pipe dumped over the rear axle, and the free ram air mod.

Those numbers look nice, I would be on stock LS6 Intake and stock heads... so I doubt I would be anywhere near those numbers. Did gas mileage drop significantly?

Mag Red- 2002 Vette
I am running the Vinci 056, 216/224 0.551/0.551 115 LSA. Nice sleeper cam, idles good and isn't a bear in traffic. Nice flat power curve. I would have liked a cam with more lope to it just because I love the sound, but this little cam has met my needs thus far. I was also trying not to go too wild so my wife would still drive the car.
