There are so many options for cams, it all depends on what you're looking to spend, how much power you want, and how much driveability you want to have with it.

We could fill this entire thread with cam info and it still wouldn't cover everything, there are so many possibilities; everything from a stock LS6 cam, which will net you 15-20HP, to radical cams that will net 60HP easily, and everything in between.

Narrow down what exactly you're looking for in a cam and we can better help you.

Your water pump is bad so you are swapping the cam??

Do you have all of the boltons already? They would be: stall (if automatic trans), headers, cat-back, lid, LS6 intake, and an UD pulley for some people.

i thought the same thing.. thats a lot of extra work.. its not like you take water pump off and there is the cam swap half done...

you will need a timing chain, oil pump(thats a bitch to install), pushrods, and springs..
