hmm so your not looking for a "rebuild". If your planning on getting a new block that is what you should base your choices off of. Planning on keeping it na or gonna go forced? I mean if your a lil more specific on what your lookin for you will get a better response. Is it a DD or a track car? A4 or 6spd? Budget, What power range are you lookin for?
    Just too name a few

It is now a daily driver but I was thinking about a 6.0 build up so I can drive it until it is finished, It is an A4, but that could change, i really want a fast car.....real fast, drive to the 8th mile run low 7's, drive home. I am not planning on driving it much, what would a 6.0 buildup cost me, and what tranny is recomended?

You could run 7's with your current setup and 100 shot, but anywho, the 402 block you can get from anywhere but i know slponline has 402 rotating assem. kits also for sale, As far as your tranny i would just have it rebuilt and beefen the internals a lil bit but also keep in mind your rearend isnt gonna hold much more than stock hp so your also gonna have to plan to upgrade to i would say a 12bolt.

    all bore 370 Trans Am

370-402-408 can all be built with a 6.0 block. Id say for about 8k you can get a long block, stall and you do the install and have what you're looking for.
