    valve spring swap

Hello, I am looking for suggestions for keeping the valves in place while I change the springs. I have used an air hose for one at a time but I am swapping springs from one car to another and would like to have all the springs off at the same time. Maybe clothes pins?
The reason for the swap is I am taking the aftermarket cam, springs and pushrods out and installing in my car and putting my stock components back in. Should be fun having both apart side by side
    Thanks for any suggestions.

clothes pin would probably work as long as you are careful...

zip ties to hold them up might work

Top Dead Centre method also works, or stuff the cylinder with some rope/cord through the spark plug hole.

    Cheers

Thanks for the replies. I think I might try the clothes pis, should be able to tell if it will hold. If not, the zip ties around the stems should work (zip tie both intake and exhaust together, lightly of course)

Rubber bands work really well. Just twist them from one valve to another around the valve stem.
