Valve spring locks
Are locks universal or is it brand for brand? Lookn for a few extra locks for my 918's

No they are usually mached for the grooves in the valve stems that they are design to go with but many companies make the ones you need for your stems. Shoot a couple across the shop huh?

Stock valves and retainers call for a 7* lock. Im pretty sure COMP Cams part number is 623-16(hardened steel), which is a stock 7* lock and will work fine.
And Edit: A 7* lock is a 7* lock. If its made for a stock diameter valve stem, it will work fine.Last edited by Hi-Po; 02-24-2010 at 10:48 AM.
