under pressure
i don't think i have enough cylinder pressure. i only distorted three of four cylinders on the driver's side. i haven't torn the passenger side off yet. have a slight bolt issue to take care of.
this was on the 250 shot from sunday's race.
i keep blowing the gasket at the service notch in the head on the passenger side. here's some pics to show that.
here's how deep the notch is. would have to weld it up and then resurface the head.

What happened, did you mess up youre new motor? Are the bolts not clamping down hard enough to seal the combustion chamber properly.

Wow, thats strange, are you using factory torque to yield type fasteners or aftermarket units. Maybe the head or deck is warped?

Oh i see, unfortunately i dont know a great deal about nitrous yet, only the basics. Hopefully you could school me a bit when we talk in person. I just bought a used kit off my buddy, im wanting to spray my maroon car. Just to give me a slight edge over the competition. Theres some pretty quick cars here in o-town.

What are you revving to?
I had nothing to say about this, because I didnt know how to help at all!Interested in what the final say in the problem was though.

no more than 6200 rpms as set by my shift points. springs were over a year old and most likely nearing 15,000 miles. tested them today, pressures are supposed to be 137 seat and 370 open. they were 94 seat and 320 open. here's pic of the spring. large diamenter one is the outer. the smaller diameter is the inner spring.
