    Trex cam....?

Im planning on ordering a trex cam soon from thunder racing along with rocker arms and lifters. Does anyone have their own personal experience with this cam, good or bad. Is this cam too big and loud for a DD car? Need some advice here

Whats wrong with the stock rockers(stock rockers are great)? Lifters will require you to remove the heads do you mean push rods? What springs? Get an aftermarket oil pump/timing chain, get a oil pick up tube gasket. Dr.Crash I am certain is running a t-rex and likes it but he hasn't logged on for almost a month. It is probably a bit much but to each there own.

push rods, valve spring kit, oil pump(and the little gasket), timing chain, timing chain cover gasket. Whoever you buy the cam off of ask them and they will give you the specs on the pus hrods, springs etc.
It's not a bad thing to do lifters but then that means you have to buy new head gaskets, retainers and new head bolts, since it cost so much to go in there most people get heads.

I personally think it is too much cam for a daily driver.

But everyone has their own idea of what 'too much' is.

with that cam you probably also need larger injectors and a better fuel pump...

I think you'd want to check P/V clearance with that cam too.

Maybe larger injectors...fuel pump should be fine. I have H/C and still have the stock FP.

you dont need bigger injectors, even with the bottle you can run stock injectors with that cam and bottle. People without the cam chiming in.. love it
