Too many cams!!!
I'm doing a cam/head swap on my 04 GTO but I can't make up my damn mind I'm looking at the TSP 233/239,New Era Streetsweeper High Torque Camshaft, and the VRX4. Is anyone running any of these cams and have any numbers? or do you know of any other cam that makes good numbers I'm looking at 410-450rwhp.

228/230 .588/.592 112 LSA as for the heads I'm going to pick up a pair of 243s and get them ported if I can't find any when I'm ready I'll end up getting the TSP 5.3s

Yah well you want to better informed right? Most are going to "sponsor" the cam they have. It is one persons word over another although frankly you won't see much of a difference between the two. heads make all the difference, you can never flow enough and if your heads flow to much then you don't have enough cubic inches.

m6 or a4 car? How high are you spinning the motor? How important is drivability to you? There's a lot more things to consider than those but that's a start when you start eliminating some cams.
I'm going to move this to the internal area.

well put Orion with something of a m6 i would go with a cam that would pass smog in every state would be a 224 224 .589 589 that would give you some wicked power that is a m6 thugh if its an asto i would go a diffrent route depeneding on the torque converter that you would go with also if u have an auto adding an exuallry cooler to the torque converter i see way to manyt melted because cooling is an issur with the converters ( hint* why Mercedes performance division amg uses a wet clutch system Aka dct in there amg 's unlike previous years where they uses torque converters not to get off subject just to inform)

My car is and a4 and I'll be running a 3400-3800 stall and yes I'll be running a cooler for it. I want something that isn't too rough driving around town and isn't rough on the interstate but makes the power range I have posted above.

I would personally stay in the 228-230 range duration wise and get it on a 114 lsa.

I just about have mine back together (lost a pushrod somewhere in the garage) should be firing it up later today to start tuning.......then I can give you my opinion of the TF 238/242 ..595/.595 112lsa and P&P/ milled 241s
I think it might be alittle too bitchy for you though

The car Isn't a DD I just started looking and have been seeing that there are some smaller cams that make the same or more power as the bigger ones. I still have time before I pull the trigger. I'm leaning towards the new era cam 228/232 .612 .600 LSA 111
