Time for a rebuild
I have 123K on my T/A. Body is in beautiful shape but engine is gettin old. Still runs strong but my future plans would be hindered if th engine took a dump on me. I really need some feedback. I think the smart thing to do is to keep the block but add stronger rods, springs, pistons and rings, valves and guides, and the addition of a more aggressive cam. If I have left things out, post it. Also, point me in the rite direction as far as brands and such. I live in Tampa so if you guys know somebody that could hook me up with a rebuild, lemme kno. -Thanks

dont go cheep on the hardware. arp bolts will cost quite a bit more but will deff be worth it. also go with head studs, not bolts. if your making any serious h/p with this motor you will be very happy with the extra security of your motor being held together strongly. also i would redo your whole valvetrain while its appart, not just the springs & guides, get pushrods and lifters too (rockers are an easy way to get a few more h/p). hope this helps.
