Thumpr Cam
For anyone interested:
I just finished the install of my new cam on my camaro (ls1 with an M6) and wanted to post my results. The cam I put in was the new thumpr cam by Comp Cams. It's specs are: 219/233 duration, .553/.536 lift on a 109 LSA. After getting the car back from being dyno tuned, the car is putting out 403 hp to the wheels and 390 ft/lbs of torque, while keeping the stock redline. My other mods are K&N air intake, 92mm FAST throttle body, FAST intake manifold, ported and gasket matched "stock" heads, long tube pacesetter headers, ORY pipe, magnaflow 3" exhaust, and 4.10 rear gear ratio. I have removed all of the emission sensors and replaced the springs, lifters, pushrods, timing set with comp cam recommended parts and did the throttle body coolant bypass mod (every horsepower counts!). The idle has a choppy thump, nothing overwhelming but definitely makes enough noise at a red light. I have the horsepower and torque curve, but can't figure out how to paste it to this post.

Just for clearification; the lobe seperation is 109. Thats not the center line? Did the kit come complete with the springs/lockes/retainers?

The 109 is the lobe-center angle. I bought the springs, lifters and pushrods seperate. Comp cams did not offer a k-kit for this cam.
