those who have had heads ported

When porting the heads and intake, Old school carborated engines it was best to not mirror the finish on the intake to help keep the fuel atomized... but now with EFI wouldnt it be best to have smooth finish rather than slightly rough??? Exhaust always benefits from mirror finish to help reduce carbon buildup.

Yep, smooth is better for EFI. Most fuel injectors spray directly on the valves, where the intake tract is hottest. The atomization from the injector combined with the evaporating effect of the valve heat is more than enough to produce a good mixture. Polish away.

thats what I thougt... somehting to make you giggle... a buy on another board, made negative comments about how my buddy smoothed out the floor of the intake and said it needs to be rough for the fuel to stay atomized... I posted back and asked what fuel, and why does that matter when the fuel injectors are in the heads...
