Think I spun a rod bearing!!!

Ok here is the quick run-down. I got my car back after it was stolen (6,300$ in damage later ) and i was hearing this tapping and knocking coming from the motor. My buddy told me sounds like a bent push rod, so i replaced them all, and it turns out one was bent all to H*LL!

We fired her back up after the new push rods we put in, and she sounded great... and then bout a min later we heard it. A knocking coming from inside the motor, diff sound than before too The knock is most noticable from under cylinders 2 and 4.

I fear that i have the dreaded spun rod bearing, but not too sure.
    HELP PLEASE!!

Might be a bent valve too, the one that hit the piston to bend the push rod. Did you do a compression test on the cylinders ? If the valve is bent, it will be low. And, it might have collapsed the lifter as well.

PS - If the valve is bent, you should hear it in the TB or exhaust.

I'd rather hear it myself, but maybe... Do a compression test and see if that one reads low. Still be pulling it apart.

to check for a bent vavle put a air hose in spark plug hole and see if you hear air coming out of the tail pipe you must remove all the rockers first so all the vavles are close
