are these heads good

I have a friend who is wanting to sell me some heads he says the
PN/88958622
I am only doing this cause they broke a damn header bolt off in my current heads and now is a good a time as any to replace them if i am gonna do it.
oh yeah he wants 800 for the heads and said he would take 1k for the heads and a ls6 intake together.

I believe those are GMPP CNC LS6 heads, and that price sounds good. Those heads to flow very well, but are milled down to 60-61cc - which means you may have to cut the pistons even on a small cam.

the cam is stock right now but a new one is going in later this year.Was gonna try and get pretty aggresive with the cam though.
I dont really know anything about cutting pistons but will research it further though.
You are correct they are GMPP ls6 heads that are cnc'd and have 61.5cc I believe.

I told the guy to go ahead with the install of the new heads and intake.

With a stock block and oem gaskets, you can go as high as 570 lift I believe, and a little shorter push rods( 7.325) . Anything more you will have to start to do some calulations. The smaller the combustion chamber it affects compression/ static and so on. The regular ls6 heads have 64 cc and those 8622 have 62cc w/ a 11.5 comp ratio.
