Stroker kits
Just sold my Grand National and have the funds to build my stroker motor for my bird. I have a LQ4 and am looking where to get the best pricing on forged stroker rotating assemblies. looking to build a 408 or 416 scat or callies. The scat kit was $2100 balanced. This build is way over due and I'm excited to get rolling. Hoping to be installed up and running by June. Goals for 11.0 @ 125 engine, 9.9 @ 140 N20. Street car with AC, cruise etc.
Bye Bye to the Buford

i've been looking in to the same project. I'm going with wiseco pistons and either a K-1 or compstar crank and rods. There are very well priced, especially if you're on a budget. Great reviews about craftsmanship and hold high power levels. Although they are not the cheapest i think these parts are the best bang for the buck. I've been researching these parts for the last two months. Check out GMHTP mags story called "finance-friendly 408"

Yeah, I get the GMHT magazines and should have that article. Will dig it out. My friend owns Taylor engines and I'm gonna go talk to him about what he can get the kits for. Lots of decisions to make. I've owned my bird since new and it deserves it. I bought the Buick 3 years ago and rebuilt the engine etc, etc. Then built an 82 bird for my wife. Those cars put off what I always wanted to do with my bird so it's time to spoil the bird. Lets roll. Keep us posted on your build.
