stock valve covers 5.3l heads?

Will my stock valve covers fit on prc stage 2.5 5.3l heads? i really hope they do bc i spent all my money on this heads, cam, headers, intake setup.

Well your 98 valve covers should be perimiter bolt so your heads would have to be too. Are they?

Well 98s were the only LS1 f bod that had perimiter valve cover bolts. 99-02 had center bolt. If no specification for "98" was made when ordering you prolly got center bolt heads. Not a big deal but you will need to buy the center bolt valve covers, prolly new coil pack rails too. Shouldn't cost too much. Center bolt is the better setup anyway. Post pics if you can.

if I were you, I'd hit a local salvge yard. you should be able to pickup the valve covers and coil mount for cheap.
take the coil brack off and look at the top of the valve cover. center bolt valve covers have 4 bolts in a line right down the center of the cover

search in the for sale section on here and ls1tech seen a couple on there the other day for under 100bucks needed them to for my h/c/i install and the coil brackets i got from texasspeed for around 30

Your gonna need the Center bolt covers for these heads. I run them and they do not make them in the perimeter bolt castings. You can probably find a nice set for 50 bucks in a wrecking yard.
