why would you want to?...cause it wouldnt be for durability...the only thing i can think is that your wanting to turn more than 7000 RPM right?

I hope your wanting to build a drag car.
Solid roller street cars are more maintanance than they're worth. You'll be constantly pulling valve covers and adjusting rockers. And the valvetrain is noisy anyways. But good luck.

By "solid roller", you mean solid lifter, right??

I imagine you're referring to the same thing with a different name...

Never really heard of it referred to as 'solid lifter' before, but it makes sense why.

Just making sure I was on the same page here...

I've heard plenty of people refer to it as solid lifter, like in the old muscle cars and such.

I'm gonna assume its the same thing. But still, I think its impractical for a street car.

    Definitely.

Doesn't the valve lash and such have to be adjusted periodically?? As in all the time lol?? No hydraulic lifter to smooth things out.

Yes it does. Valve covers have to come off and the rockers have to be adjusted all the time. Like I said, more work than its worth on a street car. You'll be twisting rockers more than driving the damn thing.
