    SLP 1.85 Rocker arms

    Just wondering if anyone has installed the SLP 1.85 ratio rocker arms and if I can get some feedback on them. THanks a lot

    The SLP part makes me scared of them.

    I have never heard so much negative feedback on SLP before, What is the problem with them all of a sudden?

    Some will tell you they have terrible customer service. I for one believe they don't even have customer service.
    They are overpriced for what you get.
    They just seem like a company on the way out...at least with the F-Body's.

    it isnt an all of a sudden problem. slp has dicked around people for years

    Don't a lot of cams reccomend against using a 1.8 rocker due to ramp rate? And wouldn't a 1.85 rocker make it worse?

    I know lots of guys in the mid to high 400's at the wheels running heads/cam with stock rockers.

    cammed cars could go with 1.85 rockers if they had the pistons fly cut.

    True, but I think they're more worried about how quickly it opens, not just how far. I think they're also worried about the springs being able to compress and expand that quickly. I dunno.
