Setup Ideas

Here is the deal. Im headed to Korea for a year thanks to the good ole USAF. I plan to have fun, meanwhile my car will be back in the states. Ill be pulling in a little extra money for being overseas and will probably be able to put away alot of cash while im there.

My other TA I had I was going all motor. I had spohn suspension, tubular K-member, A-arms, LT headers, LS6 intake, Alot of weight reduction, a stall converter, heads/cam/fuel system and ls1 edit. That all probably set me back $6-7k and I was probably gana be looking at around 450hp. I was thinking of going this route again but maybe building the motor and going a little more agressive on a head/cam setup. Of couse Id be looking at all the supporting mods like a 12 bolt, built tranny and stronger driveshaft.. Im thinking about $14k should do it.

Or should I go with a power adder. Build the motor and throw a supercharger on it. Which would probably be alot more streetable but I was looking at superchargers and they were running lik 5-6k or more. Plus all the supporting mods. Im thinking it may be more expensive going this route. Any opinions?

Keep in mind this car is a M6 not an A4 like my last car.

I'd strongly consider a turbo vs. a blower.....much more efficient....heck even at 5psi your scootin and bootin...these STS turbo's sure are working well....
