Sealing the oil pan?
I am planig to change cam,I don't know how to seal the oil pan.
I sure hope I don't have to pull the pan.

No, you dont have to actually pull the pan. Just drop it slightly. Check out ls1howto.com.

A good practice is not to loosen one bolt all the way. Slightly loosen all the bolts at the same time going in a cross patern. If you are using a new gasket, you will have to drill out a couple pegs put on the pan with original gasket in the assembly process to keep the gasket and pan together during its build process.
