    Seafoam

Alright... I got a chance to try seafoam for the first time and boy was it fun.

Used a can in the gas tank, half in the oil reservoir, and the other half I put in via the vacuum line.

Smoke never really came out and once I killed the engine to let it soak for 25 min or so, I pulled off my lid and intake and sprayed half a can of Deep Creep into the throttle body.

Started up the car and let it sit for about 10 minutes, still no smoke. Put it in drive and pulled out to the stop sign, started seeing some funk out the back.

hit the gas pedal on our street and blocked out the sun. Omg I laughed like a little school girl. there was a guy behind me that braked and stopped (I guess). I then saw him turn on his headlights to get through the cloud.

He pulled up to me at the stop light and said badass burnout.. haha..

Got back home and my neighbors told me that they cloud stuck there for about five minutes.

Anyways, I had fun with it... Post up your product and experience using it.

I have yet to seafoam the 402.
But I seafoamed the grand am gt about a month ago. I had the neighbors pissed off at me.

I will say...I don't use as much as you did. 1/3 can in the oil and a 1/3 of a can into the fuel a week before changing the oil. I fill up as soon as I put the seafoam in the fuel.
After a week of driving around on the oil with the seafoam in it...I run the last 1/3 of a can through the brake booster. Let it sit overnight. Drive it HARD the next morning.

As soon as it quits smoking...I change the oil.
    All done.

sometimes I wonder if all these additive products are just overkill. I mean years ago cars did fine without them.

i'd like to try it on that pos truck I got. I have a feeling that seafoaming that 175K truck will net me some unexpected leaks, as I'm sure the carbon is what's holding it together.

I tried to take a video, but it's boring. No smoke only smell... I was like shit, this isn't doing anything so I took off and left my camera. I wished I had it to share, because I'm sure my face was priceless...

This isn't me, but you get the idea. I had quite a bit more, but went wot and just left it all in one place.

Here's a little secret , MMO will do the same thing & cost a hell-of-a-lot less & you get almost four times as much . And it's been around since "1927" .

I had some seafoam left over today so I tried it on my dads truck(350 sbc..headers etc) and there was about a 5 inch diameter of black crud on the ground afterwards...

Should have took a pic .. if the rain doesnt wash it off I will

I have started to use that stuff many times over the years but have always been hesitant. Never heard of it working like Seafoam though.

My neighbor told me to use Marvel Mystery Oil and I actually have a quart in the garage. I know seafoam your supposed to change the oil shortly after adding. My question is are you supposed to do the same thing with MMO because it doesn't state to change the oil or is it more of an upkeep item that I can combine with the oil?

I used the seafoam because I knew what I was supposed to do with it. Wasn't sure on the Marvel Mystery Oil but my understanding is that it was a little more long term like Auto-rx.

When combined with GC or Pennzoil it will also decrease the cold start piston slap !

so do you have to change the oil if you just run it through the brake booster?

I don't know of a reason to. It should go through your motor and out the exhaust in a huge cloud.
