    RPM Shift Point Question

I have a ‘97 C5 A4 corvette with LS6 intake, Kooks 1-3/4” long tube headers, x-pipe & Borla straight pipe exhaust. Stock shift point is 57-5800 rpms. I’m looking to add a 125 shot of NO2 this spring. A buddy and I are going in on buying some HP Tuner software so we can tune our cars ourselves. My question, is there any benefit in increasing my shift points above what they are set at stock with the set up I have right now? Are stock springs good enough to handle higher rpms? With the stock cam would this even help anyway or does the power drop off by 5800 rpm?

not really worth it with your setup..with a stall yes. with a upgraded valve-train and a more radical cam then yes. the stock pushrods are weak and cant really handle anything much higher then stock shift points as is without bending. plus at least with stock f-body cams...you die off at 5-5200k..so a corvette cam might die off at 5200-5500k i would assume.
