Roller Lifters and Aluminum Roller Rockers
We'll since I'm doing a cam swap I'm considering upgrading some stock internals. Who's changed out their rockers and lifters? I'm looking at Crane Cams Roller Lifters and Aluminum Quick Lift Rockers, stock 1.7" size. Just trying to get some feedback, I've heard mixed reviews

i run the vinci/crane 1.8 accelerated lift rockers on the wife's car. stock lifters are fine, unless you think you are having problems with them. or just are doing it for peace of mind. just get the OE style crane lifters. no need for the more expensive ones.

Yea I was looking at the 1.7 accelerated lift from them, I'm not having any problem, just looking for the lil extra oomph on the dyno. Trying to break 500RWHP on a Daily Driver that can hit high 10s on stickies

Also, what would the benefit of shaft mounted rockers be for?

what is the specific reason why you don't want the 1.8??
shaft rockers are yet even stronger due to using a shaft to mount rockers together instead of individual studs. vinci just did some testing on the new crane shaft mounts. they did the 1.7 accelerated, 1.8 accelerated and then the 1.7 shaft mount. the 1.7 shaft mount made more power than the 1.8 accelerated lift. the problem with shaft mount is you have to do some serious maching to get them to fit under the valve covers and head. you even have to use valve cover spacers.
here's the pics i put up back when vinci was first testing them for crane

Reason for not going with 1.8 would be the custom design cam I'm getting took into account that I will be using the stock ratio 1.7, I want to keep my RPM range of power in tune with my rear gears and my shift point at the track, 1.8's will move that up and probably toy with it to much, right now I'm set to be at my peak when I cross the line, moving that up would hurt ET

going to 1.8 rockers doesn't change the rpm range of the cam.
if you are getting a custom cam, then get the 1.7 rockers then.
