rebuild ls1...

does anybody know how much are around how much a total rebuild will be on an ls1. just want to get the heads machined and put new pistons, and mild cam in it nothing to crazy.but can handle 8lbs of boost if I go with turbo set up . tx

Well just for a lower rotating assembly w/forged parts I've seen prices from
1700-3k just depending on what you want. If your going to boost then you should use forged lower parts!! As far as Head work it various throughout each state & machine shops. A cam will run new anywhere from 150-400 again depending on what your lookin for. If anyone else finds better deals/prices PLEASE let me know cause Im gathering my stuff now too...
