on average how much does it cost to rebuild ls1 motor. i've buit plenty of older sbc but nerver ls1. so if there is any tips or tricks to these motors would also like to know. looking to build 400 to 450 to the wheels. any suggested parts?? thanks

Are you looking to just do a Head/Cam/Intake swap, or are you looking to replace bearings in the bottom end in addition to the Head/Cam/Intake swap?

im looking to buy an ls1 motor and rebuild completly, while im still driving my car. then when i complete it then do the engine swap. im looking to do a cam and probably ls6 intake, and probably some port work on the stock heads, im not sure about buying aftermarket heads, not trying to get outrageous on the price.
