    Middle of the road.

If you need descriptions start reading. All those numbers are pretty basic and just require a little study time.

232/236 595/600 114lsa would be the typical description you would see for those specs. Its a middle of the road size cam for an LS1.

With the three choices he gave for sizes, I picked middle of the road Smaller then M-series. Like said, given the limited 3 sizes, its not LARGE.

It's big enough that it will be a top end cam with that 114 LSA regardless of driveability.

so your saying middle of the road or a touch larger? Driveability is good, it doesn't give me any trouble on the street even in traffic.

I was saying that it was a top end cam even though I'm sure that it can drive very easily if tuned properly. I bet it doesn't peak until 6500 or so which would leave you shifting around 6700.

I think it speaks volumes as to where the LSx cams have went that a 232/236 with lifts ~.600 would be called a middle of the road cam. To me that's a larger cam than I would ever want to run on something that wasn't track dedicated.

Yes,my shop ran it on the dyno to 6700. It's tuned preaty well I think, It took me on a 1800 mile road trip without a hicup.
