Radiator?????
I am putting a cam in my 2002 trans am. Been reading and somethings are saying to just remove the radiator and leave the AC condenser in it. Just lift it up or down when removing the cam. Another thing I read is to remove them both. What is the best thing to do? If I remove the ac condenser would I need to just get it recharged and what would that cost. Thank you.

The instructions indicate that a helper can hold the condensor up out of the way, but that the lines might need to be bent to gain sufficient clearance. Removing it avoids bending anything, but you then face the possibility of later leaks and have to purge and re-charge the system.

I just removed my radiator by myself this past wkend. I left the AC condenser in. Just need to be careful as you lift it out. Also you can loosen the bracket holding the AC drier clamp and use a bungi cord to keep the lines out of the way.

Dont have to disconnect any AC lines to swap cams. Just hang it.
