    The lower front alt bracket bolt hole is not drilled into the 6.0l block...you can either dril and tap one, or mod the bracket...on my GTO I just left the bolt out

    what do you gain besides cubic inches in 6.0 iron block and does the weight difference between the aluminum ls block and the iron 6.0 block justify the difference in hp vs weight? thanks

    Pressure is no issue. Stroke 'em/giggle gas 'em/Supercharge 'em/ whatever. They are strong as hell.

    Relocate your battery to the trunk and the weight difference is minimum.

    You can also get an aftermarket K-member to get the weight back down

    LS6 is just a higher output version of the LS1 so it has the same ci as a LS1, 346 ci / 5.7L

    6.0L = 366 ci

    LS2 has higher compression than the LS1/LS6

    so can you bore out a ls6 or the cylinder walls to thin? question can you stroke a ls 6 to get more cubes is the question or is that the reason so many are going to the iron lq9 and 4 blocks? thanks
