    Pushrod length w/ 1.85 rockers ?

I am installing 1.85 ratio SLP rockers on my LS1 along with aftermarket springs.

--I would like to know what springs would be suitable on a budget?

--I was also wondering if I would need a shorter pushrod? What length?

I would like to be prepared to have all parts necessary before digging into the job. Keep in mind that I do not need the very best parts, just what is necessary!

Pushrods should stay the same. Otherwise you would be removing the effects of the rocker arms higher ratio.

What cam is in there?? Stock? If stock, go with Comp 918's. NEW batch.

Have you already purchased the 1.85 rockers from Seriously Lacking Professionals?

YES! Its a stock 99 LS1. What do you mean by new batch?Have you already purchased the 1.85 rockers from Seriously Lacking Professionals?
You know Mr. Luos, I expected you to respond like that. For your information, I purchased them for less than a third of the price! I already went through this with everyone saying its not worth it.

    Anymore info would be appreciated!

Never said rockers weren't worth it.
I just think SLP is worthless is all.

Comp had some issues with some 918's breaking. It has been cleared up and they have a new batch out. With the higher ratio rockers you will have more lift than the stock valvesprings will handle, so you need at least LS6 springs. Might as well get the Comp 918's though if they will be off.
That is why people may have said it isn't worth it. Valvespring swap isn't exactly simple.

Understand that it is a quality issue with SLP....not the mod itself.

I know how to swap valves springs. I just get tired of questions getting answered with, "why would you do that" or "it isn't worth it"

I just asked what everyone recommends! That all!

Most will say they are not worth it because of the price per power increase! Thats not the case in my situation

Even if you get NO power from rockers....they are an upgrade over the stock ones that like to spit out their needle bearings.
