pushrod length help
I am wondering if anyone has about the same setup and what length pushrod they used. I have an 2003 ls1 engine in a camaro z28. I have a 5 angle valve job done and the heads have been milled .020. Stock cam shaft. I do plan on using the slp 1.85 ratio rockers. I know the stock rods are 7.4. I do have a rod checker and cant really decide on the best length. 7.35 looks good but then 7.325 and or 7.375 doenst look bad either. There really isnt a big pattern difference on the valve stem. It doesnt make a pretty line in the center. It does however wipe a large area more or less in the center of the valve stem. I am using blue marking dye. I was hoping someone out there had about the same setup. Any help woud be appreciated. Thanks.

in theory, the heads are cut .020". so, 7.400 - 0.020" = 7.380"
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers
