Pushrod length
Hey,
I am gonna get my hands on a CTS-v with a sweet little LS6. I hope to change the heads to GM 88958622, but i read that it is 0.055" lower than stock. Now i did buy a pushrod checker and will double check the length. However, i will be delayed atleast a whole week if i go about that way.
I read at one site that the rod length should be 7.325". I dont quite trust that number for it only appeared once, does anyone know?

Contact GM and they should be able to help you out. Since they make and distribute the heads I'm sure they've tested them and know what pushrods go with them.

GM, help me...Your kiddin...GM dont care about us over here...
Now with some research i found that the standard size is 7.380" for the LS6 valves are 0.6mm longer...factor in the 0.055 shorter would lead me to use the 7.325"...The website was right
