    pushrod length?

what lenght to get rid of the sewing machine noise? TSP v2 cam, 595/598 lift on a 112, ported and polished LS6 heads(new castings), comp cams street strip lifters, chrome moly pushrods - 7.350 length. still have the noise and i hate it, are they too short? too long? or am i just being to picky?

Best way to figure out length is to measure them. Only need to pull 1 out to do it. Either that or re-check tightness of the rocker arms. LS1's are known to be pretty noisey when you mess with the valvetrain.

Mine were too long when I did my head/cam swap. After I measured and intalled the correct length, I still had some valvetrain noise. It gets guiet once the engine warms up though.

Buy a pushrod length checker and find out what you should have.

It comes with instructions, I don't remember the specifics, but you do want the engine to have been brought up to operating temp, cause you want your hydraulic lifters to be filled with oil.
