Artic White- 2001 Chevy Camaro SS
Port & Polish in Missouri
What's up guys, just recently moved out to Missouri to go to school and I'm looking for a place where I could get some good head work done? I'm looking to build my car up this winter with heads and a cam, you wouldn't catch me dead driving it in the snow!

Do you have any experience with those guys or know anyone who has? Also where are they located in Missouri? Thanks

No. Haven't used them yet. I've called them for a few price quotes for installs and stuff, but they seem kind of on the pricey end. They have built quite a few engines for people. They have a website, do a search. Lots of pics of customer's rides and engines.
Also, there is a shop called 'Just Vettes' off hwy 370 in St. Charles. I have no experience with them either.
Uh, another place in St. Charles off of First Capitol is '4x4' Performance or something like that. Haven't even been there yet, but they have a dyno. Don't know if any of that helps you.

Thanks a lot! I'm new to Missouri, it seems to me like you guys know your stuff pretty well. I never would've imagined how many f-body guys are out here.

I'm about 2 1/2 to the east of you in Kirksville. I just relocated to Missouri about 4 months ago. I don't know of any place up here that does that kind of work. I do know that down in Nixa, MO there was a guy who all of the drag racers took there heads to. There is a speed shop called "MOSpeed". The guy to talk to is Jason. He could tell you if he knows if the guy is still doing head work or not.

have you thought about up grading to better then ls1 heads? go with some 5.3L or LS6 ported heads
M6, Lid, Ported and Polished Throttle Body (By Me!), LT, Custom Catted Y, Electric Cutout, PHB, LCA13.21@108 with a 2.3 60'
