Port and Polish GM LS6 Heads

I have a brand new set of GM LS6 heads that I am going to install on my 2000 Trans Am, WS6, LS1. Should I get these heads ported and polished before I install them? Will the gains be worth it?

yes thats a positive yes having your heads ported and polished will improve intake flow and performance after you install the ls6 heads you should also have the car tuned for the new add on's to even further the performance gain.

Most states except California don't do sniffer tests so I'd say balogney.
