white, white and pewter- Rip99SSA4,74Z28M4,02SSM6
on the driver side on the bottom right side of the head if you will is a number, it should say 241, let us know,
as for the cam i guess it all depends on what you want, i would say in my opinion that the 228r is a lil to big for street driving with an auto,
i would look into the highest duration being a 224, but there is the voodoo cam and i think its only like 220, really streetable and great mid range power, .
if you plan on heads i say the 224 for sure or maybe higher if you get some afr;s

Artic White- 2001 Chevy Camaro SS
I was in the same boat as you at first with not knowing too much about cams, all the numbers and everything. Well here's a link that can probably help you on understanding what you should start looking for. Here's the link www.ls1howto.com click on the f-body cam and valvespring swap link on the right after the next page comes up there should be a chart under selecting the right cam for you. Hope this helps out.

that link is a perfect write up on the cam swap, used it twice I had the TR224 cam and loved it, awesome street cam, i put out 383 rwhp with it
but ended up putting something bigger in and went with MTI 236/236/0.590/05.90/112 and it is insane. But Note you will neeed some tuning to correct the idle, and with yours being an auto I am sure there are other things to tune for the tranny to operate correctly
