    Patrick G torque monster cam

I found this on LS1 tech, while searching for the rite cam.

    http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=481382

I know this cam has probably been in threads on here, but neways its a 224/228 .637/.639 110LSA. It makes crazy torque numbers, so what do you guys think about it?

I wish I could have found a good sound clip on it. If anyone has a clip please post it up.

It make great numbers under the curve which is what I want more than upper rpms.

You guys think this cam has to much lift for the stock heads, even if I upgrade the springs, pushrods etc?

you could use the stock heads, but it would choke out and you wouldn't see the full potential of the cam....but it would work till you got new heads

I am sure it is an a$$kicker. PG really knows his stuff. Two things to consider... that is a pretty high lift for a DD and LSK are high intensity lobes so spring checks/changes should be fairly frequent.

Used to be right around the corner from you when I lived near Goldston. Now I live in Kinston. Trying to work my way to the beach or Intracoastal waterway somewhere. I still go up there to deer hunt with some buddies so I will be up your way for a few days before the rut goes out.

O ok small world, I went to high school at chatham central. Alot of my buddies are from Goldston. They have a good car shows up there sometimes. There's a WS6 with a LS7 in it hanging around there somewhere.

Just go to comp cams website and look up the lobe numbers and order direct or call a vendor. Ususlly in the the $389 range either way. A custom grind costs no more than a shelf grind.
