I just acquired a freshly built short block and am tearing it down to insure the proper balance.

I was hoping to find out more information about these two parts if anyone knows.

6100 h-beam rods and forged flat tops with -3 valve reliefs. Other than that I have not a clue.

Anyone know something else?

The rods are from SCAT. No idea on pistons.

Thanks for the info. I found out the what the pistons are from the number on top. I still couldnt find anythign out about those rods though.

If I rememebr they are SRS pistons or something like that. They have 3.898 hone and a -3 relief in them. Still running around a 10.5 compression w/ the ls6 heads according to the data table.
