P/N help for head and cam install???

    Hey guys,

I am trying to get all the parts necessary to install some heads and cam but am having trouble finding some part numbers. I know TSP has a kit, but I am trying to see if its cheaper to get it separate, so I need some P/Ns for the following for a 99 trans am:
    1) water pump gaskets (PN on ls1howto says 97-98, is it the same for 99?)
    2) timing cover seal
    3) front seal (could not find on gmpartsdirect with PN from ls1howto)
    4) harmonic balancer bolt.

    Thanks in advance

    front seal: 12585673
    front cover: 12633904
99 water pump gasket: 12630223 (different part number than the 98's)
balancer bolt: 12557840 ( I would do an ARP bolt here though)

just about everyone carries them...check with Mark at KYSpeed. You should also have him price you out a gasket set and see what he can do. Not sure if there's much wiggle room for him on those but if there is he'll do what he can. Sometimes too you pay a few more dollars for a lot less headaches. I've ordered from all the major LSx suppliers over the years and the ones with the biggest names and cheapest prices aren't always the best to go with. Example....I waited 7 weeks for a Y-pipe. That's almost 2 months. No reason for that. I ended up cancelling the order and paid a little more through a different vendor and had it the next week. I will say I've had excellent luck with gmpartsdirect over the years too and their prices for OEM parts are almost unbeatable.

    Thanks for your help.
And I am not against ordering from major LSx suppliers, but when I priced everything on GMPartsdirect for the gaskets and timing chain, etc., it came up with quite a bit of difference in price....money that I'm sure I will end up putting into the car thru one of those vendors.
That being said, I also ordered a ported LS6 oil pump from a major LSx supplier.
