Oil Pump Cavitation
Has anyone experenced a problem with the LS6 oil pump cavitating when running above 8000 RPM. I have a drag race only combination with a solid roller cam and would like to run up to 9000 RPM. I am getting ready to dyno the engine and am looking for any information I can find before I destroy any parts.

i really don't know anyone turning 8000 rpms in a LSx motor.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

Melling Pump
Does Anyone have any experence with the new Melling Oil Pump?
