Numbers don't add up!
My tuner may have already posted this (I've been away from boards for some time now) But I did a H/C/I install a few months ago, and should be posting better numbers than I am. The setup is as follows: AFR 205's milled, G5X3 on a 114, FAST 90 intake/TB, LTs, racetronix fuel pump w/ #42 injectors. On the dyno, through a cut-out I only posted 419 hp and I dont remember the torque but I know it was pretty low. We did a leak down test and showed no signs of compression lost but each cylinder was only around 180ish (tuner thought this was low) I had 3 LSx gurus around the car and no one could figure out why the power/torque was as low as it is. Anyone have any ideas?
Im thinking about just saying the hell with it, have the heads milled down further, fly cut the pistons and see where that gets me... I dunno'

Not too sure about what the problem could be, but i'm going to take a shot in the dark and guess maybe you're losing compression due to worn piston rings? Don't knock me, it's just a guess. lol

There was talk about the rings being bad. I've been told that the 2000 models have been known to have poor rings.

That's the only way I could see the drop in pressure happen when the leak down test doesn't show any problems.

If eventually you're going to pull the motor apart, I would just go for a whole new rotating assemebly, i'm pretty sure the numbers would go up then.

I've been told by a couple different people that the torque was way down thus bring down the HP, we're second guessing whether or not AFR 'actually' did any milling on the heads.

How much were they milled?
Milling doesn't add much power, just bumps the compression...which takes a lot to start making a huge difference.
