Great results! I've heard nothing but good things about that cam. Who was your tuner?

Yea they are the numbers I was looking for. I found a tuner that was local to me and specializes in LS cars, they are called Backstreet Performance. The street manners of the cam are really nice, however with the 112LSA it rumbles the car pretty good at Idle. This setup is awesome.

The mail order tune was to get it up and driving to your tuner... I didn't expect him to put it on the dyno and pull on it without setting it up
Heh, at any rate those are some stout numbers; bet it feels like a different car!
No issues left to look at?
You went to Bill for tuning right?

Haha sorry steve, yea they did that pull before any tweaking to the existing tune. Believe me I only expected that tune to get the car running and not much more, It did its Job Very well!!! Like you said mail order is no replacement for dyno tuning when it comes to a head and cam install of this nature. I actually found a place 30 min from my house Called Backstreet Performance that is a reputable LS tuner. My car club leader had his Z06 tuned by them. They do all the Mallet specialty cars.
I would have went to bill however the window of opportunity with this shitty weather plus the 3 hour drive to and from and me temporarily moving back to florida at the end of this month and taking the car with me left me no choice to get it done at Backstreet with the semi decent weather I had saturday. This summer when I move back north I have some upgrades planned that will require Bill to tune.
The only issue Im still antsy about is the oil pressure does still dip a little low for my taste at idle. When I get to florida in the 60 degree warmness Ill tear it down and make sure the pick up is seated to the pump, its too damn cold and snowy up here.Last edited by Justin93; 12-23-2008 at 09:38 AM.
