    New cam and parts

I just bought a new cam for the car - LG G5X1, and I am looking to get a valvetrain kit (dual springs, titanium retainers, hardend pushrods, etc). So my question is can anyone recommend a good kit for me that will get the job done and last a long while. I've been looking at the PRC kit and the Comp Cams kit. Huge price difference I know, but I would like to know if the PRC kit is worth its cheaper price tag or won't it last long at all. One other thing, I want to get an LS2 timing chain as well. Is the GM part a decent piece or are there better options out there?

    Thanks!

Have you thought about just getting a set of PAC1518 beehive single springs, there good for .650 lift ?

If you car has a lot of miles on it I'd get a complete time gear/chain set , otherwise if it's low mileage the the ls2 chain will be fine.

The PRC 199-650PRCSpringKit with .650" lift is a good deal for $300 . You can also get the CompCams 26925TS-KIT for $379, an good for .650" lift, but the retainers are tool steel, with titanium retainers its $465 for CompCams 26925TI-KIT.
Lunati has some good kit also. Model: 75721-16 $382, 74721-16 $285, and 73925K1 $210, all are good for .650" lift.

Ya I thought about just a single spring but I figured I would go with dual springs now in case I ever want to get a bigger cam in the future. My car has low miles. Just past 45000. But I bought the katech c5 chain anyway just so it's one less thing to worry about later

I've actually been looking into Trick Flow's kit. I kinda figured I couldn't go wrong with their products
