local speed shop
I paid $650 with a dyno tune but that is a local speed shop and a really good deal from what I've read. He does nothing but Chevy work,

Wiggins Racing and Performance in Vanceboro,NC. William is a good fellow and does outstanding work. A little know and well equipped shop out in the sticks (in the floor dyno) and a heavy local workload. $650 for cam swap, beehive springs and new push rods + tune (my parts).

Doing it yourself would be a good time to get to know your car, as well as the pride of doing it yourself..... Just a thought, not for everyone.

I plan on doing mine myself, seems like it's not going to be too bad just time consuming. Plus there are so many walk throughs on the web, i'd feel like an ass paying someone to do something i could've done in my own garage. There's nothing like the feeling of saying you installed it yourself.

do u already have headers? That's pretty much a must for any cam so consider adding that price in. If you could get it done for under $1000 i would jump all over that deal.
I dont know how this compares, but i'm getting a cam, valve springs, headers, o/r y-pipe, 4.10's, labor, street and dyno tune for a little over $3000

$700 for a cam swap, springs, pushrods -with timing chain and new oil pump installed around $800. Then you have to get it tuned.
