    Need help with Patriot Cam

Im looking into buying a cam and have a few questions, I found a Patriot cam for $200, The specs are 230/232 Dur. .580/.578 Lift 112 LSA. Comes with cam card, Is this cam worth it? Will this cam be ok with comp 918 springs? Do I need to upgrade anything else besides springs and hardened push rods in order to run this cam? Thanks for any info.

    I personally wouldn't do it.
Find a newer grind and pay the extra $$.

Springs are required, pushrods are also pretty much required.
Depending on the mileage, I would also consider a ported LS6 oil pump and LS2 chain.

I figured its almost the same as the TSP Torquer because it has nearly the same specs.

    Lobes are different.
TSP cam will make more power.

    Just the duration/lift don't make a cam.

Ok, I will just stick with my original plan with the TSP torquer. Thanks for the info. Quick question, Im not too sure which one but Ive read somewhere that TSP uses Comp Cam blanks and grinds themselves or Comp grinds them for TSP

TSP uses COMP cams for their grinds.
    TSP design, COMP grinds them.
At least that is how I understand it.
