    Need help with H/C package

I'm looking at getting a H/C package soon with my tax money with about $3500 to work with. I'm looking for the most power but also streetable. I don't want to take the engine past 6100 rpms. What would everyone suggest?

first off, its safe to take the motor to 6700rpm, its been proven many of times over.
seeing you have a 3500stall, this cam is a perfect match and totally streetable,

they are 1300 with the dual springs.
you can buy both above as a package.
youll also need hardened push rods, gasket kit and a ls2 timing chain and last but not least, a ported oil pump.
the price if bought as a package with everything youll need outside of te timing chain is 2,039.98. you will need another 50 bucks or so for a ls2 timing chain.
that leaves you with about 1400 left. figure most of that will go towards labor and a dyno tune.
you can thank me by sending the leftover cash .......lol

The reason I don't want to take it past 6100 rpms is because of the transmission. I've read that the stock 4L60E won't last long when taken past that.

stock trans wont last long if you beat the hell out of it. engine rpm has nothing to do with a trans blowing
