    need help choseing motor build

    ok right now i have a 99 a4 ta has 100 k miles on it i have a cam 342 gears
    lt headers true duals small stall 100 wet shot (tnt) and a lid and all that free mod stuff well what im getting at is i am wanting to rebuild the motor and just get it all freshend up what would you guys think about like a 383 set up would that be a good choice i would like to build like a 408 or 402 but since i allready have the ls1 i just want to go with that i am for sure getting some real good heads and 92 92 fast intake so please help me out on this guys thanks

    go big or go home....make your ls1 into a 402 get a set of ported ls1 heads and a FAST 92/92 and you can tell everyone it's stock with a cam

    do the 383 with a forged rotating assembly to handle more nos.

    save your money build a 383. Make sure you use a good dish and the nos will love it

    the dish will depend on a whole bunch of shit, bore size,stroke,head cc,gasket size,piston ring land.
    keep the motor at 10:1 and it will live forever on a 200 shot(with the right tune).
    with a 383 i think its -10cc with a 72 cc head.
