    need help with cam(of course)

ok, my car is 2000 z28 with a stage 3 4l60e, tci 3500, lt headers, true duals w/xpipe. the car currently has 2.73's but i am going to 3.73's in the next week or two. the car is not a daily driver, but it is driven on the street and at the track. the car made 321rwhp and 335rwtq with the current set up (well before the stall and trans, but the stock trans was slipping a little) i want to get as close to or over 400rwhp and rwtq. what would be a good cam to run with this? maybe one that would run well with a 100hp shot of nitrous later on? maybe!?

I think it will be hard to get the 400rwhp with the stall but the track times will make you happy.
I have heard the Magic Stick from TSP is good with nitrous and would sound mean with the TD's

depends on how big of a cam that you want......do you want power below the curve or just peak horsepower.....do you have stock intake? How aggressive of a cam can you tolerate? do you have emmissions to worry about?

berry.......what type of cam do you have? Is it seriously cam only, if it is I would guess that you have a large cam with those numbers.......

I just went with the Comp Cam Extreme 232/234 595/598 on a 112LSA. With my mods they say I should be close to 400 rwhp. I guess I will have to wait and see the actual dyno numbers. Love the sound of it.

You may lose your low end...your peak power with that cam is going to be 6600 at least so you'll have to rev the crap out of it to make those numbers.

i have a stock intake. you know to be honest the peak power is nice, but i just want the car to run like a scalded dog if you know what i mean. and i dont have to worry about emissions and i dont care how aggressive it is as long as it motivates the car well.
