Need help - attempting to install a 408 stroker
I am trying to install a 408 stroker engine but i need a new oil pan due to the bigger stroke. Anyone out there that wants to sell a deeper oil pan? if so just call 1-248-561-8141 ! ask for clem. I reallly need help! thanks!! and suggestions!! thanks again

don't know why you need a deeper oil pan. i don't. what you need to do is put washers underneath the windage tray to lower it just enough to clear the rods like i did.

x2. You might want to add two washers between the windage tray and the mains.
Also watch the size of the heads of the rod bolts. Some rod bolt heads are tall and will strike the pan in the front of the engine. You'll need to get hardware with smaller heads on them.
