Question Need guidance on this build

I just want to post this second build online to make sure I have everything done properly. I got my block back and they managed to keep the cylinders within specs for the 3.902 probe pistons.

I installed the new bearings and crank after spraying everything down with part cleaner and making sure there was no debris or dirt on the surfaces.

I then plastigaged the mains, installed the pistons and rods and plastigaged them too.

I now have the cam installed with the front retainer plate. I am not sure if anything goes back on the rear end besides the rear oil cover.

I have to contact Cloyes about the timing gear set I have, the timing mark on the crank cannot be seen anymore since the oil pump sleeve was installed. I have to double check on the notch alignment on the cam to the crank. I have the cam mark pointing down with the number one cylinder at TDC. I believe this is correct but I want to make sure since the Comp Cam I am running is ground on a 2* advance.

    After Crank and piston install

    Showing pistons

Timing mark on Cam gear is pointing down w/ #1 at TDC

Is there suppose to be anything on the rear cam end besides the rear oil cover?

    Barbell installed

Why not just pull the oil pump drive sleeve off and double check the timing marks?

Rear cover and gasket is all that goes on the back of the block.

I was trying to pull the drive sleeve off but haven't figured out how. Should it just pull off by hand or do I need a puller?

Got in contact with Cloyes and Comp Cams, this is the correct position for the timing marks and #1 cylinder. Now I will put the pump and the rest of the lower end together,

Waiting to get my valve back from getting a little nick on the stem fixed and then I will put the heads back on.

Managed to get the oil pump on today and installed the pickup tube making sure the ring was not bound up in the hole.

Also installed both the front and rear covers along with the valley cover with new knock sensor seals and gasket.
